You are encouraged to bookmark this website for future reference if you ever want to revisit any of the information provided.

The academic unit that oversees your graduate program may also schedule an orientation session to welcome you and provide program-specific information. If you have not yet heard from them, contact the Graduate Program Coordinator or Graduate Program Assistant of your program to learn more.  You can find their contact information on the academic unit's website or in the Graduate Calendar under Section IX. Graduate Programs.

Live chat sessions with campus staff will be held on Tuesday, September 8 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM to give you a chance to ask questions about graduate studies in general. Stay tuned to your email, the Graduate Studies website, the Graduate Studies Facebook page and the Twitter account for the schedule of live chats. We acknowledge that the University of Guelph resides on the ancestral lands of the Attawandaron people and the treaty lands and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit.  We recognize the significance of the Dish with One Spoon Covenant to this land and offer our respect to our Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Métis neighbours as we strive to strengthen our relationships with them.

Campus Services and Resources

Follow the links below to learn about the services and resources available to you as a graduate student. You will find short videos introducing you to some of these services and resources throughout this website.  If you would like to rewatch any of the videos, you can access all of them from a YouTube playlist.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, access to the university campus is still restricted, and many services and resources are not yet available in person. However, the University has been, and continues to work hard to provide resources and services online. Planning is also underway for an eventual and gradual return to campus.

You can obtain the latest information about the University's response to the pandemic on the COVID-19 general information webpage, which is updated frequently. Information specific to graduate students, including plans for delivery of courses in Fall 2020 is located on the COVID-19 information for graduate studies webpage.

We look forward to welcoming you to campus in the near future.  In the meantime, we wish you and your family good health during this unusual time.
